Picking The Right Equipment For Your Workout

Walking into a fitness center for the first time can be overwhelming. There are literally hundreds of choices for machines, equipment, and weights.
There are however a few items that are cost effective AND are multipurpose use.
One item everyone should be using is exercise bands. These bands come in different lengths and tensions to help grow muscle, but they all the same set up. It’s a big rubber band with handles. The exercise bands are one of the most versatile pieces of equipment to have. They are cheap, they work, they don’t take up any room, and they can travel easily.
The bands allow you to work on literally every muscle in your body – even for those who are strictly just cardio. You could hook the band to a door, wrap it around your waist, and move forward to create resistant and then stretch, run in place, plus many more exercises.
Another cheap piece of equipment is a chin up bar. These bars hook onto the frame of a door. This allows you to work on your chest, back, and arms. The bars allow you to grab at different lengths for different motions and muscles worked. And usually the chin up bars can be used as push up bars too, giving greater resistant for one of the most important exercises out there.
With just these couple pieces of basic equipment, you could have a full body workout.
